Zum Scheurer in Cologne

it was a nice evening. the food, the service and the ambience were convincing. Above all, the starter with wild herb salad with fried chicken liver and pears and the red wine recommended by the owner surprised us extremely positively. I'm not a fan of Pinot Noir, but my wife and me were completely won over by it. we look forward to reopening after the lockdown. Please keep Zündorf! We need restaurants like yours!

When we asked about a table, we were turned away at 8 p.m. with the notice that it will be closed shortly. However, the employee repeated 4 times with a rather unfriendly undertone .. No! No! No! No! We close!!! Then we went somewhere else to eat something, around 10 p.m. we passed the Scheurer on the way home. There were still guests in the restaurant who were served. Because of we close. I have not experienced anything anti-social in my last 20 years

Very good and tasty food. Somewhat Swabian Italian refined light to hearty. Original ideas tastefully prepared. Good selected wines and nice service and advice. Highly recommended and I'll be back. Nice and cozy ambience in a good location.

Delicious! Delicious! Delicious! Tried starters, main courses and desserts. Nice tastes, pleasant and harmonious combinations, creativity and skill - a real treat for the palate. Understandable that the dishes are a bit more expensive. Quality has its price. In this harmonious and lovingly furnished restaurant, guests can also look forward to the charming and quick service. Good wine, great card and loving service. There were 5 people and everyone was thrilled with the appetizer, over main course to cheese plate for dessert - everything tasted very good, was great. Probably the best restaurant in Cologne Zürndorf, located directly on an old arm of the Rhine. Excellent, small menu with great dishes. Super friendly service with a lot of charm. Thank you for the great evening and the wonderful hours.
